Concrete Mold
Anders Beton approached Caden due to a shortage in their drawing capacity. They were looking for a partner to handle the engineering of a concrete mold.
Anders Beton's engineering department originally used AutoCAD Revit. Since their setup involved creating various configurations, which is well-suited for SolidWorks, we decided to tackle the challenge using the program we are most familiar with. The high demands and highly detailed engineering were enthusiastically taken on by 3D CADWORKS. To strengthen the collaboration, drawings were even done on-site. This created a great synergy between 3D CADWORKS as the CAD specialist and Anders Beton as the concrete specialist.
The first result of this collaboration was the complete engineering of the concrete mold and the workshop drawings. During the project, Anders Beton became more interested in SolidWorks. Strong features of SolidWorks include its ability to make everything very discussable and clear, and it is ideal for quickly creating visual material as a basis for meetings. In this case, we could literally step into the mold to resolve critical issues.
Anders Beton was convinced of SolidWorks' capabilities, purchased the program through our supplier, and we provided the training. Following a group basic training, a tailored advanced training session was conducted. Due to our previous collaboration, we knew exactly what they needed to start using the software effectively.
This is a great case that reflects 3D CADWORKS' higher goal: elevating companies through engineering, and when needed, through training as well.
