3D Scan Excavator

Our client wanted to extend the chassis of an existing excavator to accommodate a hydrogen unit, enabling the excavator to operate on hydrogen. To accurately position this unit, they needed a precise 3D model of the current setup. Caden was contacted to perform a 3D scan.

The scanning focused on the counterweight and the connection to the crane, with particular attention to the chassis profiles. In addition to a complete scan, several components from the engine compartment were also scanned separately for further processing.
